Air Fryer Buffalo Cauliflower (Printable Version)

Crispy cauliflower florets air-fried to perfection and tossed in spicy buffalo sauce for a crowd-pleasing vegetarian appetizer.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
02 - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
03 - 1/2 cup water
04 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder
05 - 1/2 tsp onion powder
06 - 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
07 - 1/4 tsp salt
08 - 1/4 tsp black pepper
09 - 3/4 cup buffalo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
10 - 1 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
11 - Cooking spray

# Steps:

01 - Cut the cauliflower into uniform bite-sized florets to ensure even cooking.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth. The batter should be thick enough to coat the cauliflower but still pourable.
03 - Add the cauliflower florets to the batter, ensuring each piece is fully coated. Shake off any excess batter before transferring to the air fryer.
04 - Preheat the air fryer to 190°C for about 3 minutes. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the battered cauliflower florets in a single layer in the basket, making sure they are not overcrowded. You may need to cook in batches. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
05 - While the cauliflower is cooking, mix the buffalo sauce with the melted butter in a small bowl until well combined.
06 - Once the cauliflower is done, transfer it to a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce mixture over the cauliflower and toss until each floret is evenly coated.
07 - Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or blue cheese, and some celery sticks on the side.
