Fluffy Air Fryer Pretzel Bites (Printable Version)

Soft, pillowy pretzel bites made in the air fryer, brushed with melted butter and finished with a sprinkle of pretzel salt.

# Ingredients:

→ Pretzels

01 - 2 cups warm water (43°C/110°F)
02 - 4 cups all-purpose flour
03 - 2.4 teaspoons quick rise yeast
04 - 1 teaspoon sea salt
05 - 1 tablespoon sugar or honey

→ Glaze

06 - 4 tablespoons melted butter
07 - Pretzel salt for topping

# Steps:

01 - Heat water to approximately 43°C (110°F) - warm but not hot to touch. Add yeast and whisk together. Set aside.
02 - In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Pour in the water-yeast mixture and stir until a dough forms. Add an extra tablespoon of water if needed, but maintain a thick consistency that isn't overly sticky.
03 - Lightly flour a countertop. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and roll each into a rope. Slice each rope into 1-inch pieces to create bite-sized portions.
04 - Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil. Arrange pretzel bites inside with space between each piece for expansion. Brush the tops with melted butter.
05 - Cook at 200°C (400°F) for 7 minutes or until the pretzel bites are lightly browned on top.
06 - Remove from air fryer and allow to cool slightly before transferring to a serving plate. Brush with remaining butter and sprinkle with pretzel salt.

# Notes:

01 - These pretzel bites have a soft, fluffy interior with a golden exterior. Perfect for dipping in cheese sauce or mustard.
