Cinnamon Swirl Banana Bread (Printable Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Bread Base

01 - 3 ripe bananas, mashed
02 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
03 - 1 cup granulated sugar
04 - 1 large egg, beaten
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
07 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
08 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

→ Cinnamon Swirl

09 - 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
10 - 1/4 cup brown sugar

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
02 - In a large bowl, thoroughly combine mashed bananas, melted butter, granulated sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold into the wet mixture until just incorporated, being careful not to overmix.
04 - In a small bowl, mix ground cinnamon and brown sugar until well combined.
05 - Pour half of the banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan. Sprinkle evenly with half of the cinnamon mixture. Add remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon mixture.
06 - Using a knife or skewer, gently swirl the cinnamon mixture through the batter to create a marbled pattern.
07 - Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. If the top browns too quickly, tent with aluminum foil.
08 - Allow bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving.
