Crispy Chilli Beef Rice (Printable Version)

Savory beef mince stir-fried with bell peppers in a sweet-spicy sauce, served over fluffy rice with optional garnishes.

# Ingredients:

01 - 300g lean beef mince
02 - 1 onion, chopped
03 - 1 bell pepper, chopped
04 - 3 garlic cloves, minced
05 - 20ml dark soy sauce
06 - 15ml sriracha
07 - 10g tomato puree
08 - 20g honey
09 - 250g cooked rice

→ Garnish

10 - Spring onions, sliced
11 - Sesame seeds

# Steps:

01 - Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion and bell pepper for 1-2 minutes until softened; add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
02 - Add beef mince, cooking until browned and liquid evaporates.
03 - In a mixing bowl, combine dark soy sauce, sriracha, tomato puree, honey, and a splash of water; mix well.
04 - Pour sauce over beef mixture in the pan; cook until thickened.
05 - Stir in cooked rice until evenly coated with sauce.
06 - Serve hot, garnished with spring onions and sesame seeds if desired.

01 - For extra spice, add fresh chili or increase the sriracha quantity.
