# Ingredients:

→ Base Ingredients

01 - 3 ripe bananas, mashed
02 - 1/2 cup butter, melted
03 - 3/4 cup sugar
04 - 1 egg, beaten
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
07 - Pinch of salt
08 - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

→ Optional Add-ins

09 - 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
02 - In a mixing bowl, mash the bananas with a fork until smooth. Stir in the melted butter, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
03 - Sprinkle baking soda and salt over the mixture and stir in. Gently fold in the flour until just incorporated. Be careful not to overmix.
04 - If using, fold in chopped walnuts or chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
05 - Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
06 - Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

# Notes:

01 - For extra moisture, you can add an additional banana to the mixture.
02 - The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful your bread will be.
