Elevated BLT Sandwich Build (Printable Version)

A gourmet spin on the classic BLT featuring turkey bacon, perfectly ripe tomatoes, and creamy avocado on hearty toasted bread.

# Ingredients:

→ Bread & Spread

01 - 2 thick slices hearty bread
02 - 4 teaspoons soft butter
03 - 3 tablespoons mayonnaise or alternative sauce

→ Protein & Produce

04 - 4 slices thin-cut turkey bacon
05 - 2-4 pieces green leaf lettuce
06 - 1 perfectly ripe tomato
07 - 1/2 perfectly ripe avocado

→ Seasoning

08 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

# Steps:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Place the turkey bacon slices in a single layer and bake for 15–18 minutes, or until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
02 - Brush both sides of each bread slice with olive oil. Toast in a skillet over medium heat or use a toaster oven until golden and crisp.
03 - Slice tomatoes and sprinkle with flaky sea salt. Wash and dry the lettuce or arugula. Slice avocado if using.
04 - Spread garlic aioli on the toasted bread. Layer with lettuce, tomato slices, turkey bacon (3 slices per sandwich), and avocado. Season with black pepper and top with the second bread slice.
05 - Cut sandwiches in half diagonally and serve immediately with chips, salad, or soup.
