Lemon Garlic Butter Cod (Printable Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 4 cod fillets (6 oz each)
02 - 3 tbsp unsalted butter
03 - 1 tbsp olive oil
04 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 3 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
06 - Zest of 1 lemon
07 - Salt and pepper, to taste
08 - 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

# Steps:

01 - Pat the cod fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
02 - In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and olive oil together. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
03 - Place the seasoned cod fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is golden brown and crispy.
04 - Gently flip the fillets, pour in lemon juice, and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the fish flakes easily.
05 - Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley and lemon zest, then serve immediately.
