Peach Crisp with Oatmeal Crumble (Printable Version)

Fresh peaches tossed with vanilla, topped with a buttery oat crumble and baked until golden and bubbling.

# Ingredients:

→ Fruit Base

01 - 6 cups fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
02 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Crumble Topping

05 - 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
06 - 3/4 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
07 - 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
08 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
09 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
10 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
02 - In a large bowl, toss the sliced peaches with granulated sugar, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Spread the peach mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
03 - In another bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add the cold, cubed butter and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
04 - Sprinkle the oatmeal crumble topping evenly over the peaches.
05 - Bake for 40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peach filling is bubbling.
06 - Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, use ripe but firm peaches that hold their shape when baked.
02 - The crisp can be made with frozen peaches if fresh are not available; thaw and drain excess liquid first.
