Peanut Butter Cookies (Printable Version)

Effortless, chewy peanut butter cookies made with just 3 simple ingredients and featuring the iconic criss-cross pattern.

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup (270g) creamy peanut butter
02 - 1 cup (198g) granulated sugar
03 - 1 large egg

# Steps:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350ºF (175ºC). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, and egg using either an electric mixer or a spatula. Blend thoroughly until the mixture becomes creamy and smooth.
03 - Using about 1 tablespoon of dough per cookie, form into balls and place onto the prepared baking sheet, about 5 cm apart. Flatten each ball with the back of a fork, creating a criss-cross pattern. If desired, roll the dough balls in granulated sugar before adding the pattern.
04 - Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges turn slightly golden and cookies are a little puffy. Remove from the oven and allow to cool on the baking sheet.
