Strawberry Mousse (Printable Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
02 - 1 cup heavy cream
03 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - 1 tablespoon lemon juice
06 - 1/4 cup gelatin, for firmer texture (optional)

# Steps:

01 - Puree strawberries in a blender until smooth.
02 - In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until soft peaks form.
03 - Gradually add sugar and vanilla to whipped cream; whisk until stiff peaks form.
04 - Gently fold strawberry puree into whipped cream until well combined.
05 - If using gelatin, dissolve it in warm water and fold into the mixture.
06 - Spoon mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate for at least two hours before serving.
