# Ingredients:

01 - 1 pound tomatoes (cherry or heirloom, cut into halves or quarters)
02 - 1 small shallot, finely diced
03 - 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
04 - 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
05 - Salt and pepper, to taste
06 - 4-5 fresh basil leaves, cut into ribbons

# Steps:

01 - Place the tomatoes and shallots into a medium bowl and toss gently to combine.
