# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 8 oz linguine pasta
02 - 1 lb flank steak
03 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 1/4 cup soy sauce
05 - 1/4 cup honey
06 - 2 tbsp rice vinegar
07 - 1 tsp red pepper flakes
08 - 2 tbsp olive oil
09 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Steps:

01 - In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguine according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving a cup of pasta water.
02 - In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Add the flank steak and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
03 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade, allowing excess sauce to drip off. Season with salt and pepper. Sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest.
04 - In the same skillet, add the remaining marinade and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until slightly thickened.
05 - Slice the rested steak into thin strips. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet with the sauce, tossing to combine. Add a splash of reserved pasta water if needed.
06 - Plate the pasta, top with sliced steak, and garnish with fresh basil and Parmesan cheese.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, let the steak come to room temperature before cooking and allow it to rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing.
