# Ingredients:

→ For the Shrimp

01 - 1 pound large shrimp (16–20 count), peeled and deveined, tails on
02 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
04 - 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
05 - 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
06 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
07 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
08 - ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
09 - ½ teaspoon dried oregano
10 - ½ teaspoon dried thyme
11 - ½ teaspoon salt
12 - ½ teaspoon black pepper

→ For the Garlic Butter

13 - 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
14 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
15 - 1 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

→ For Garnish and Serving

16 - Lemon wedges
17 - Fresh parsley, chopped

# Steps:

01 - In a medium-sized bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, oregano, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well combined. Add the shrimp and toss to coat evenly. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 20–30 minutes. Do not marinate too long as the acidic lemon juice can begin to 'cook' the shrimp.
02 - Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat (about 190°C–205°C). If using a grill, lightly oil the grates to prevent sticking.
03 - Thread the marinated shrimp onto metal skewers or soaked wooden skewers, leaving small spaces between each shrimp to ensure even cooking.
04 - Place the shrimp skewers on the preheated grill. Cook for 2–3 minutes per side, until the shrimp turn pink, opaque, and slightly charred around the edges. Be careful not to overcook, as shrimp can quickly become rubbery.
05 - While the shrimp are grilling, melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes, until fragrant. Stir in the chopped parsley if using.
06 - Transfer the grilled shrimp to a serving platter. Brush them generously with the warm garlic butter. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, ensure shrimp are completely thawed before marinating.
02 - If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
